Design is an Iterative Process

The Wheel of Iteration.
The following information is aimed primarily at rookie teams with the objective of helping them through the stages of the design process and teaching them how to use weighted tables to prioritize robot capabilities (as well as what variables that specific design will depend on most). This enables a team to find their optimal design using what we refer to as a design calculator. Below you can find two sets of papers written by our team's lead engineer, John V-Neun. In these papers, John discusses that design is an iterative process and teaches teams how best to go about following and properly documenting their process. In addition to the papers, we also include several design calculators that we have used in previous years, offering other teams an insight into the Robowrangler design process.
